Banana Blossom Ginataan with Baked Tofu

Ginataan is a Filipino term that means food cooked in coconut milk, or Gata.  I love this dish!   It’s basically banana blossoms cooked in coconut milk, garlic, onions, tomatoes, vinegar, salt, pepper and usually cooked with pork and shrimp.  I omitted the pork and shrimp and added baked tofu instead.  I also chopped serrano peppers to give it a kick.  Delicious!  Now to try cooking some Ginataan Laing (Taro Leaves)!
